Meet the Maker

Hello, I'm Danielle. The owner and artist behind Bless Your Hide. I grew up all over Texas from Stockdale to Stephenville, the mountains of Colorado, and somehow ended up in Oklahoma!

My leather journey started in a tiny dorm room my freshman year of college. Living in the city with no horses to ride, chores to do, or cows to check on, I quickly went insane. What started out as a way to pass time, developed into a passion I knew I wanted to pursue. Growing up, I admired to old and true western way of life, living on the land, praising God, and working hard. I hope I get to capture that in my work, even just a little.

I graduated from Tarleton State University in 2024 with an Animal Production degree. Wanting to focus on Equine breeding, genetics, health and more. It is scary deciding to run a business instead of getting a career started but I trust in God and the path that he has instore for me!

Bless Your Hide is a rebranding of the previous name Picosa Creek Leather (an addition to the western store Picosa Creek Outfitters, aka my parents). It was time to be on my own. God has been a large part in my journey, and I wanted my business to reflect that, hence Bless Your Hide (a play on the Texas phrase "Bless your heart"). I hope you enjoy the projects just as much as I enjoy making them!
